WhatsApp RSVP

WhatsApp RSVPs, one tap from each guest

Every guest gets a WhatsApp message with a personal link, confirms headcount and meal in one tap, and you see the answer on your dashboard the same second. Messages come from Weddigo's official sender, and reminders go only to guests who haven't answered.

Weddigo's WhatsApp RSVPs are sent through Meta's official WhatsApp Business API, from a dedicated number with the sender name Weddigo and pre-approved message templates — not from a private number or an automation tool that can get blocked. Every guest gets a personal link to an invitation page with their name and confirms in one tap whether they're coming, how many, and their meal preference. Reminders go only to guests who haven't answered, a guest who replies "הסר" (stop) is blocked from all future sends automatically, and guests without WhatsApp — a kosher phone, for example — get the message by SMS.

How it works

From guest list to RSVPs in three steps

  1. 1

    Upload your guests

An Excel file with names and phone numbers, or add them by hand. Split them into groups — family, friends, work — to send in waves.

  2. 2

Every guest gets a message from the official sender with a personal link. Guests without WhatsApp get the same invitation by SMS.

  3. 3

    Count in real time

Guests confirm in one tap and the dashboard updates immediately: who's coming, how many, which meals, and who hasn't answered.

What's inside

Everything WhatsApp RSVPs need

Meta's official sender

Messages go out through the WhatsApp Business API from a dedicated number named Weddigo — not a private number that can be blocked mid-campaign.

A personal link per guest

An invitation page with the guest's name that opens in the browser. No QR, no app, no sign-up.

One-tap confirmation

Coming or not, how many, and which meal — on one screen, with no follow-up messages.

Meal preferences

Meat, vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free — collected from every guest and totalled for the caterer.

Reminders only to non-responders

Guests who already confirmed get nothing more. Before every send you see exactly who it goes to.

Groups and send waves

Send to family first and friends later, or to one group only — each wave with its own wording.

"Stop" handled for you

A guest who replies "הסר" on WhatsApp is blocked from every future message automatically, as Israeli law requires.

A live dashboard

How many confirmed, how many meals, who declined and who hasn't opened — at any moment, in one place.

FAQ

Questions about WhatsApp RSVPs

How do WhatsApp RSVPs work?

You upload your guest list and every guest gets a WhatsApp message with a personal link to their invitation page. In one tap they mark whether they're coming, how many, and their meal preference, and the answer shows up on your dashboard immediately. Guests who haven't answered get a reminder; guests who already confirmed don't.

Which number do the messages come from?

From a dedicated Weddigo number connected to Meta's official WhatsApp Business API, with the sender name Weddigo and pre-approved message templates. Messages are not sent from your phone, a group, or a private number.

What about guests without WhatsApp or with a kosher phone?

They get the same invitation with their personal link by SMS. Guests who didn't answer on WhatsApp can also get the message on the other channel.

How is a WhatsApp RSVP different from RSVP phone calls?

With phone calls someone rings every guest one by one. On WhatsApp guests answer when it suits them, in one tap, and the answer is recorded with headcount and meal — no calls and no copying errors. Only the guests who haven't answered remain, and they get the reminders.

Do guests need an app or a QR code?

No. The link opens in any smartphone browser, with no install, no sign-up and no QR. Guests see the invitation with their name and confirm.

What happens when a guest replies "stop"?

A WhatsApp reply of "הסר" blocks that number from every future send automatically, as section 30A of Israel's Communications Law requires. If a guest asks to stop another way — a call or a message — you can block them by hand from the dashboard.
